During my recent business trip to Ohrid, I had the pleasure of staying at Villa Sofija, a delightful 4-star property nestled in the heart of the old town, mere moments from the enchanting shores of Lake Ohrid. The central location is unparalleled, allowing easy access to local attractions, including the picturesque Church of St John at Kaneo, which is a must-visit. Our charming room came complete with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and the most delightful private patio boasting panoramic lake views-a perfect spot for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. To top it off, the cleanliness and care shown by the staff, particularly Filip, was commendable; his attentiveness made our stay all the more enjoyable. As a traveler who typically prefers to explore with family, I must say that the shared balcony was an added bonus, offering a communal space to unwind and soak in the stunning vistas together. If you're considering a trip to Ohrid, I wholeheartedly recommend this gem for its comfort, views, and unbeatable location.
